Position Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with Energy Utilities knowledge to join our dynamic team at a leading IT service company. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding business needs, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of effective solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured and translated into technical specifications. As a Business Analyst, you will also be involved in various testing activities, including developing and running test scripts, logging defects, and working with the technical team to resolve issues. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that the solutions meet both technical and business requirementsKibana - must have knowledge to setup dashboards

Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies and internal teams, to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to ensure alignment with client needs and regulatory standards.
Create and maintain clear and detailed requirement specifications, user stories, and process flows.
Write and maintain functional design and documentation

Develop and update project documentation, including business cases, use cases, and functional specifications.
Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the designers and developers, ensuring the determination of various integrations, flows, and dependencies of features across the product.
Review functional design documents, user stories, and other functional artifacts to ensure alignment with business needs.
Develop new test scripts, modify existing scripts, run test scripts, and log defects.
Perform system testing.
Conduct testing of existing capabilities
Work with the technical team in defect resolution.
Make necessary updates to the system and training documentation.
Confirm the transfer of knowledge as necessary throughout the project.
Resolve customer issues.
Build product knowledge.
Work with the delivery/development teams by driving towards the product roadmap.

Mandatory Skills:
Good experience of working in Agile environments. Agile certified is preferred.
BA with Energy and Utilities domain exp
A high level knowledge on C# (.NET Framework / .NET Core), Java script, HTML/CSS are added advantage
