Law Officer

Provide legal guidance and support to ensure the organizations operations comply with applicable laws and regulations. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the organization's interests. Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and risk management. Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including court cases, arbitration, and mediation. Collaborate with internal teams to advise on regulatory requirements, policies, and risk mitigation strategies. Stay updated on changes in legislation, regulations, and case law relevant to the organizations sector and activities. Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary, managing costs and ensuring alignment with the organizations goals. Prepare legal reports, summaries, and updates to inform management on legal risks, proceedings, and compliance initiatives. Develop and deliver training sessions to staff on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters. Handle legal disputes and ensure efficient resolution through settlement negotiations or alternative dispute resolution techniques.
