Laravel Developer

We need an Intermediate level Laravel Developer with a lot of practical experience in PHP and Laravel as well as an overall solid understanding of modern web development technologies. An ideal candidate would be comfortable with other framework and open-source tools and also have experience with WordPress, Shopify, and cloud technologies like AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel and similar PHP frameworks.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code following OOP , MVC , and established design patterns.
• Integrate and improve front-end features using JavaScript and TypeScript .
• Work with MySQL to design data models, optimize queries, and improve database performance.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments.
• Deploy applications with Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS or GCP services.
• Configure and maintain Apache or Nginx servers for production environments.
• Contribute to and utilize open-source solutions and frameworks.
• Work closely with designers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications
• 3-6 years of experience with PHP and Laravel .
• Strong understanding of OOP , MVC architecture , and software design principles.
• Good with JavaScript and TypeScript .
• Practical experience with MySQL, including complex queries and indexing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Proficiency with Docker or similar containerization technologies.
• Working experience with AWS or GCP services (EC2, S3, Cloud SQL, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Apache and Nginx configuration .
• Basic understanding of Linux systems , including file management, process control, and essential O/S commands.
• Exposure to WordPress or Shopify development/integration is an advantage.
• Familiarity with other PHP frameworks or open-source projects is preferred.
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of Vue.js , React , or Alpine.js for front-end development.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs , GraphQL , and microservices architecture.
• Experience with unit testing and code quality tools (PHPUnit, PHPCS).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development practices.
