Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using PHP and Laravel framework. Take ownership of end-to-end development including requirement analysis, system design, development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and optimized code following industry best practices and coding standards.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications to improve performance, security, and scalability. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and backend components efficiently.
Work extensively with MySQL databases, including schema design, complex queries, indexing, and performance tuning. Participate actively in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to improving overall team productivity and code quality.
Ensure application reliability through unit testing, automated testing, and adherence to secure coding practices. Stay updated with the latest Laravel versions, PHP features, web technologies, and development trends, and proactively suggest technical improvements.
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel Framework
- In-depth understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, query optimization, and database design
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations
- Experience with Git, version control, and Agile/Scrum methodology
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Understanding of application security, performance optimization, and scalability
- Ability to guide juniors and handle complex technical challenges independently
