Landscape CAD Designer

• We are seeking a Landscape CAD Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll be essential in designing and developing detailed landscape plans and site layouts using CAD software.
• You'll work closely with landscape architects and other stakeholders to translate conceptual ideas into functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces.
• This position requires strong technical skills, an understanding of engineering principles, and a collaborative spirit to ensure all project requirements are met.

Requirements and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a CAD Designer, ideally within the landscape design or civil engineering industry.
• Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in CAD software like AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles, grading techniques, and land development processes.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with effective communication skills.
• Good to Have: Knowledge of GIS, map projections, and basic graphics software like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cut and fill volume calculations to optimize earthwork and ensure proper drainage.

• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape CAD engineering.
