Job Description

 
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential land parcels suitable for development.
  • Perform due diligence on selected properties, including title searches, land records verification, and environmental assessments.
Legal Compliance:
  • Stay abreast of and interpret relevant local, state, and national laws pertaining to land acquisition and development.
  • Ensure compliance with NA and YUDA regulations and other legal requirements throughout the acquisition process.
Negotiation and Agreement Drafting:
  • Negotiate with landowners, brokers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms for land acquisition.
  • Draft and review legal agreements, including sale deeds, development agreements, and other related documents.
Collaboration with Government Authorities:
  • Liaise with government authorities, including municipal bodies and planning commissions, to obtain necessary approvals and clearances.
  • Facilitate the process of converting agricultural land into non-agricultural land in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Litigation Management:
  • Handle legal disputes and litigation related to land acquisition and development, if any.
  • Work closely with external legal counsel and represent the company in legal proceedings when required.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all land-related transactions and legal proceedings.
  • Ensure that all records comply with regulatory standards and can withstand legal scrutiny.
Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and relevant stakeholders to provide legal insights and updates on land acquisition projects.
Bachelor s degree in Law with a focus on real estate or related field.
  • Proven experience in land acquisition and legal advocacy, preferably in the real estate sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of NA and YUDA regulations and other relevant land acquisition laws.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
