Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Gharda Chemicals Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical analysis and laboratory procedures, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibility

• Conduct and document chemical tests and experiments to support product development and quality control.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, chromatography systems, and pH meters.
• Analyze data and results to identify trends and patterns, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and research and development.
• Develop and implement new methods and procedures for laboratory testing and analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, test results, and experiment notes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a chemical plant.
• Possess strong knowledge of chemical principles, laboratory techniques, and instrumentation.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with laboratory software and databases is an asset.
