Job Description
Position: L1+/L2 Windows, Linux & Basic Cloud Support Engineer
Location: Manesar
Experience: 3-6 Years (Preferred)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L1+ support for Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers.
- Monitor server health, system performance, and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Perform server patching and preventive maintenance activities.
- Provide basic cloud administration and support for AWS, Microsoft Azure.
- Troubleshoot operating system, application, and network-related issues.
- Coordinate with MSP support team ~ infrastructure, application, and security teams for incident resolution.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration.
- Good hands-on experience with Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distributions).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell or Bash is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent are desirable.
