Junior Structural Engineer

Role- Jr. Structural Engineer

Role Purpose

Support the execution of R&D Projects through on?site supervision, quantity measurement, and Supplier and site team coordination. ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• find out new technologies available in the market and evaluation to implement in Sobha
• Discussion and collaboration with suppliers for the new product development, understand the applicability.
• Lead the trials on site and prepare reports for the management presentation.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications and brief suppliers accordingly.
• Support documentation, reporting and record keeping for ongoing works.
• Coordinate with seniors for planning daily/weekly work programs and resolving site issues.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• 1-3 years of experience in civil construction, Preferably in Research and Development. freshers with strong internships can also be considered.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong soft skills: project coordination, problem solving, negotiation, teamwork and leadership potential.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with basic drafting/estimation tools is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on site locations and coordinate with multiple stakeholders (client, contractors, officials).
