Job Description
- looking for a Back End or full stack Developer to develop microservices for our suite of cloud-based softwares.
- The back-end developer will be primarily responsible for:
Contribute to developing modular microservices and serverless functions for web-
based cloud software
Working with a front-end developer to connect data to user interfaces, user experience and technical integrity
testing
Creating reporting functionality for clients and internal business units
Managing and maintaining some dev-ops settings and functions over AWS
Rolling out the monolith to microservices migration
Maintaining mongoDB database
Test code (unit test and user test) to ensure optimal functionality
Required skills and experience
o App development skills
o Amazon Web Services understanding
o Lambda (mandatory)
o IAM (mandatory)
o API Gateway
o DynamoDB
o SES
o Cognito
o S3
o Cloudwatch
o At least a year experience with node.js
o Experience with working with APIs and building headless front ends
o Understanding of build / automation tools e.g. Pipelines, Serverless
o Git / Bitbucket understanding
o Ability to self-scope with minimal documentation.
