Job Description

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices

3+ years of relevant experience developing backend applications with Node.js

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL

Your key responsibilities may include:

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain server-side applications using NodeJS.

Developing and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js

Integrating with various databases, APIs, and other back-end systems.

Building scalable and high-performance APIs

Writing clean, efficient, and scalable code that follows best practices.

Writing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the code.

Collaborating with other developers, designers, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver software that meets customer needs.

Optimizing the performance and scalability of the server-side applications.

Troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions.

Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.

Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

3-8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years of relevant experience in Node.js.

Single Page Application development experience

Strong experience in developing server-side applications using Node.js.

Experience in integrating with databases, APIs, and other back-end systems.

Excellent knowledge of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.

Strong experience in writing automated tests.

Experience with agile development methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Worked with PostgreSQL

AWS/GCS Cloud experience with technologies such as Lambda s, API gateways

Understanding of Computer Science concepts including Data Structures, Methods, Number Systems, Algorithm Analysis and Product Development Cycles

Additional qualifications that would be a plus:

Experience with front-end technologies such as Vue, Svelte or Angular

Understanding CDN systems, cache purging

Experience with css frameworks like Tailwind or unoCSS
