Junior MEAN stack developer

• We are seeking a Junior MEAN Stack Developer (Backend) with 3-5 years of experience to help us build and maintain scalable SaaS applications
• You will be a key member of a cross-functional team, responsible for the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment
• This role requires hands-on experience with Node.js (preferably NestJS/Express.js), MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and ElasticSearch, along with a solid foundation in frontend development using React/Next.js

Key Responsibilities:

• 2+ years of experience as a MEAN Stack Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js
• Experience building frontend applications using React, or Next.js
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 (LESS/SASS), and JavaScript for both client and server sides
• Experience integrating ElasticSearch and PostgreSQL into applications
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Familiarity with modern architecture and design patterns in full-stack development
• Experience working on high-traffic, consumer-facing web applications is a plus
• Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS) is an added advantage
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum development environments

Qualifications:

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable and performant backend services using Node.js
• Build responsive, high-quality frontends React/Next.js
• Define code architecture decisions to support scalability and maintainability
• Create secure and scalable RESTful APIs (XML/JSON)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, researchers, and QA engineers
• Maintain and optimize existing codebase and troubleshoot issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software practices and standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
