Junior Billing Engineer (BOQ & BBS)

We are seeking a Junior Billing Engineer with 1 to 1.5 years of experience in the field of quantity estimation and billing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) as per relevant Schedule of Rates (SOR) such as DSR, SSR, PWD, and should be capable of performing quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements. Candidates with working knowledge of Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) preparation as per IS Codes and sound technical understanding will be given preference.

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
1 to 1.5 years of experience in billing, quantity surveying, or estimation.
Good understanding of quantity take-off techniques and basic construction methods.
Working knowledge of DSR / SSR / PWD SORs.
Familiarity with local market rates and rate analysis.
Ability to prepare BBS as per IS Codes and technical standards.
Basic proficiency in AutoCAD (for measurement and quantity take-off).
Strong command over MS Excel (formulas, formatting, BOQ templates, etc.).

Assist in the preparation of BOQ as per standard SORs (DSR, SSR, PWD schedules, etc.).
Support the team in rate analysis for non-SOR items using current local market rates.
Take off quantities from drawings, GFCs, and site measurements.
Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) as per IS 2502 and IS 456, ensuring accuracy in detailing and reinforcement estimation.
