Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Junior Safety Officer to support implementation of safety practices at construction sites. The candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, minimizing risks, and promoting a safe working environment across residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing site safety policies and procedures as per company standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices
- Monitor use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by workers and staff
- Support in conducting toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness sessions
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation (incidents, near-miss, audits)
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and supervisors on safety compliance
- Assist in accident/incident investigations and prepare basic reports
- Ensure proper signage, barricading, and safety measures at site
- Monitor work at height, excavation, scaffolding, and lifting activities
- Help ensure compliance with statutory safety norms and regulations
