Job Opportunity - Principal & Sr Principal Engineers - QAD, Pune

Join QAD and help build the world's first AI-native, agentic ERP platform. We're looking for experienced software engineers who are passionate about building scalable cloud-native applications and leveraging AI to transform software development. These roles are ideal for engineers with 8+ years of experience, with opportunities available at both Staff Software Engineer (8-12 years) and Senior Staff Software Engineer (12+ years) levels.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop and deliver scalable enterprise SaaS applications.
• Build modern full-stack applications using cloud-native architectures and microservices.
• Solve complex technical problems and optimize systems for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product, QA and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering excellence (Senior Staff level).

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with Java, Python or Node.js.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, Microservices and Cloud-native development.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and Git.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf or similar is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work from our Pune office (3-4 days per week).
