Job | Mainframe Development/Support at Deloitte (Hyderabad)

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs for various applications on IBM Mainframe systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions using JCL (Job Control Language) and VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method).
• Troubleshoot issues related to program execution, data processing, and system performance on CICS (Customer Information Centered Services) platforms.
• Develop technical documentation for developed codebases and participate in knowledge sharing initiatives within the team.

Job Requirements :

• 2-10 years of experience in COBOL programming language with expertise in mainframes.
• Strong understanding of JCL (Job Control Language), VSAMLOGICAL commands, and ability to write efficient code.
• Experience working with CICS (Customer Information Centered Services) or similar systems is desirable but not mandatory.
