Overview

Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS) is an autonomous society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, by the Department of Rural Development, Government of Jharkhand. It serves as the nodal agency for implementing the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), known as Aajeevika, in the state of Jharkhand. JSLPS aims to reduce poverty by enabling the poor households to access gainful self-employment and skilled wage employment opportunities, resulting in sustainable improvement in their livelihoods through building strong grassroots institutions.
