Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with expertise in the Asset Management domain to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications supporting investment management, portfolio management, trading, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong Core Java and Spring Boot skills along with a solid understanding of capital markets and asset management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with business analysts, portfolio managers, and QA teams to gather requirements.
• Develop applications supporting portfolio management, order management, trade lifecycle, and investment reporting.
• Integrate with market data providers, trading platforms, and downstream systems.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and coding standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8/11/17), Collections, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.

Asset Management Domain Experience (Mandatory)

• Experience working with Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets projects.
