Java Backend Developer (AWS + Banking Domain)

Looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong experience in AWS Cloud and hands-on exposure to the Banking/Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate should have expertise in building scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs, along with a solid understanding of cloud technologies and modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Core Java, JDK 17, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Design, develop, and support scalable RESTful APIs.
• Write and execute unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Develop and maintain Unix Shell Scripts for application workflows and automation.
• Work with PostgreSQL and relational databases; create optimized queries and database solutions.
• Participate in CI/CD processes, source code management, and release activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements and production-ready solutions.
• Utilize tools such as GitHub/GitLab, Docker, SonarQube, and build automation frameworks.
• Leverage AI-powered productivity tools where applicable.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in the Banking/BFSI domain.
• Expertise in:
• Core Java, JDK 17
• Spring Boot
• Microservices Architecture
• REST API Development
• AWS Cloud experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS or equivalent services).
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL.
