Java Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Java-based applications with high performance and reliability
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
  
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate backend services
  
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
  
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and messaging queues
  
• Implement security and data protection measures
  
• Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOP concepts, and design patterns
  
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
  
• Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA or other ORM frameworks
  
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web services
  
• Familiarity with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  
• Understanding of version control systems like Git
  
• Experience with build tools such as Maven/Gradle
  
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multithreading
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  

Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments
  
• Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other message brokers
  
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  
• Frontend knowledge (Angular/React) is a plus
  
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
