Java Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and microservices.
  
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
  
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
  
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, DevOps, and other developers.
  
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
  
• Manage databases, write complex queries, and ensure data integrity.
  
• Implement automated testing (unit, integration) using tools like JUnit/TestNG.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java 8+.
  
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, or Jakarta EE.
  
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
  
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
  
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
  
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a strong plus.
  
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
  
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  
• Exposure to distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
  
• Understanding of front-end technologies (Angular/React) is a plus.
  

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
