Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Architect / Principal Engineer with deep expertise in core Java, system design, microservices architecture, and advanced algorithms. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end architecture, design scalable distributed systems, and mentor engineering teams to build high-performance, fault-tolerant applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Architect and design scalable, high-performance microservices-based systems
2. Lead end-to-end system design (HLD & LLD) for complex enterprise applications
3. Develop and optimize advanced algorithms and data structures for performance-critical use cases
4. Build and manage RESTful APIs and distributed systems
5. Drive best practices in coding standards, design patterns, and clean architecture
6. Ensure system scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability
7. Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments
8. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
9. Mentor and guide engineering teams, ensuring technical excellence
10. Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Required Skills

1. Strong expertise in Java (8/11/17+), JVM internals, multithreading, and concurrency
2. Deep knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)
3. Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems
4. Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA
5. Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
6. Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
7. Expertise in REST APIs, API Gateway, and service orchestration
8. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
9. Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra)
10. Familiarity with CI/CD tools, security practices (OAuth2/JWT), and DevOps workflows
