Job Description
1) Provide specialized medical care: Perform consultations, diagnose infertility issues, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients seeking IVF treatment.
2) Conduct fertility assessments: Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments of patients to determine the cause of infertility and recommend appropriate fertility treatments.
3) Oversee IVF procedures: Coordinate and supervise all aspects of IVF treatment cycles, including egg retrieval, sperm collection, embryo transfer, and embryo freezing/thawing.
4) Perform fertility-related surgeries: Perform surgical procedures such as egg retrieval, embryo transfer, hysteroscopy, and laparoscopy as necessary.
5) Monitor patient progress: Regularly monitor and evaluate patients response to treatment protocols through ultrasound examinations, blood tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
6) Provide counseling and support: Offer compassionate counseling and emotional support to patients throughout their fertility journey, discussing treatment options, success rates, risks, and potential outcomes.
7) Collaborate with multidisciplinary team: Work closely with embryologists, fertility nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
8) Stay updated on advancements: Stay abreast of the latest advancements and research in reproductive medicine, attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education programs to enhance your knowledge and skills.
9) Maintain accurate records: Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with medical standards and patient confidentiality regulations.
