Job Description
JD for ITOM profiles.
- ServiceNow Development: Design and customize ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, Request) using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
- ITSM: Understanding of ITSM workflow , end use portal design for ITSM, advance ServiceNow ITSM configurations like MIM, walkup experience
- ITSM: Understanding of Virtual Agent , Now Assist , Knowledge Management
- ITSM: Understanding of Service Operations workspace , Agent workspace Context menu
- ITOM Implementation: Configure and maintain Discovery and Service Mapping to provide visibility into infrastructure and dependencies.
- CMDB Governance: Manage the CMDB architecture, ensuring data integrity, normalization, and reconciliation while following the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- CSDM Governance: Good to have CSDM understanding and building Common Service Data Model (CSDM) from inputs from Client technical architect and business stakeholders .
- Integrations: Build and manage integrations with third-party monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Servers.
- Event Management: Set up Event Management rules, alerts, and dashboards to proactively monitor system health.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in JavaScript, ServiceNow Glide APIs, and IntegrationHub.
- Experience: 3 7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development with a focus on ITOM and CMDB lifecycle management.
- Certifications:
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) (Mandatory).
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) ITSM/ITOM (Highly Preferred).
- Framework Knowledge: Deep understanding of ITIL v4 processes and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- CMDB Health: Achieving high scores in completeness, correctness, and compliance audits.
- Discovery Success: Maintaining a high success rate for Discovery schedules across diverse infrastructure.
- Incident Reduction: Improving Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) through automated event correlation.
