JOB DESCRIPTION
Core Responsibility: .
  • Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs.
  • Maintain best practices for managing systems and services across all environments
  • Fault finding, analysis, and logging information for reporting performance exceptions
  • Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
  • Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
  • Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
Required skills and qualifications:
  • Previous working experience as a System engineer L3 minimum 1 years.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar relevant degree.
  • Install, configure, harden, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu/RHEL/CentOS) for application, web, and database workloads
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Github or similar, enabling automated build, test, and deployment.
  • Use configuration management like Ansible to provision and manage infrastructure in a repeatable way.
  • Manage containers and orchestration platforms such as Docker for application deployment and scaling.
  • Monitor systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or equivalent, and respond to alerts to maintain high availability.
  • Troubleshoot Linux system, network, and application issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • Administer source control platforms (Git) and support branching, merging, and release practices for development teams.
  • Perform routine Windows Server administration tasks (user and permission management, basic roles, patching) where required.
  • Implement security best practices including patch management, firewall rules, SSH hardening, backups, and access controls on Linux and Windows systems.
