IT QA Professional

• Quality Testing: Conducting various types of testing (functional, regression, performance, etc) on software or applications to identify defects, bugs, or inconsistencies
• Test Planning and Execution: Developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage across different scenarios
• Defect Reporting: Documenting and reporting identified issues, defects, or inconsistencies to developers or relevant stakeholders for resolution
• Quality Standards Compliance: Ensuring adherence to quality standards, industry best practices, and compliance requirements during the development life cycle
• Collaboration: Working closely with developers, project managers, business analysts, and other team members to resolve issues and improve software quality
• Automation: Implementing test automation strategies using tools to increase efficiency, coverage, and accuracy in testing processes
• Qualifications and Skills:Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies
• Familiarity with testing tools (such as Selenium, JIRA, HP Quality Center, etc) and proficiency in using them for test execution and management
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and isolate issues in software or applications
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey defects and testing results to developers and stakeholders
