Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
1. IT Project Leadership & Rollout
Lead procurement-related IT projects from planning to implementation, go-live and stabilization. Manage scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, governance, reporting and escalations.
2. Procurement Systems & SRM Excellence
Drive harmonization and enhancement of SRM, sourcing, supplier management and procurement platform capabilities. Align business requirements, process standards, workflows and system configuration across Business Units.
3. SAP, SRM, PLM & Integration
Coordinate integration topics between SAP, PLM, SRM platforms, MDM, Data Lake / Databricks, BI and related systems.
Translate interface, API, IDoc, data flow and architecture requirements into implementation activities.
4. Testing, Data & Reporting Readiness
Coordinate testing, defect resolution, data migration, reporting readiness and go-live preparation. Ensure data quality, traceability, auditability and analytics enablement across system rollouts.
5. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Manage Procurement, IT, Business Units, key users, vendors and implementation partners throughout delivery. Facilitate workshops, decision meetings, steering updates, change management and vendor challenge.
6. Governance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure compliance with IT standards, procurement policies, security, access and audit requirements.
Secure proper documentation, operational handover and post-go-live stabilization.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Completed degree in Business, IT, Business Informatics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or comparable qualification; equivalent practical experience accepted.
Experience:
5–8+ years of experience in IT project management, system implementation or digital transformation, preferably in Procurement, SRM, Sourcing or Supplier Management environments.
Skills:
Proven experience in leading complex IT implementation and rollout projects.
Experience with SAP, JAGGAER, QAD, SAP Ariba, SupplyOn or comparable SRM/Sourcing platforms.
Strong understanding of Procurement processes, SRM, supplier lifecycle, sourcing and supplier collaboration.
Good understanding of system integration, interfaces, APIs, IDocs, MDM, Data Lake / Databricks and BI/reporting concepts.
Experience with procurement data models, supplier master data and reporting structures.
Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, including governance, escalation and decision preparation.
Experience with testing, go-live preparation, hypercare, IT security, audit, compliance and access management topics.
Languages:
Fluent in English; German strongly preferred; additional languages are a plus.
