- Developing and implementing the IT department's strategy and goals
- Managing the IT department's budget and resources
- Ensuring that the organization's technology infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable
- Overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications, hardware, and network systems
- Ensuring compliance with IT security and compliance standards
- Managing vendor relationships and service level agreements
- Providing technical support to end-users
- Managing IT staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that the IT infrastructure meets business requirements
- Knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and software applications
- Familiarity with IT security and compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
