Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Infrastructure Management

• Manage IT operations across multiple laboratory units throughout India.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize data center infrastructure.
• Maintain and govern IT asset management across all laboratory units.
• Prepare and manage annual IT budgets, including infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, software procurement, and operational expenditures.
• Conduct periodic audits of hardware assets to refresh and replacement requirements.
• Manage and administer Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
• Perform server installation, configuration, patch management, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Monitor server health, availability, utilization, and capacity planning.
• Manage Active Directory users.
• Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, Firewall, wireless infrastructure, and enterprise connectivity.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot switches, routers, and network devices.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and bandwidth utilization.
• Coordinate with ISP vendors for issue resolution and service improvements.
• Support NABL audits related to IT systems and data management.
• Support for boardroom AV systems, video conferencing to ensure seamless meetings and communication.
• IT Service Management (ITSM), Incident Management, and Change Management.

Laboratory Systems Support

• Support for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) application, and laboratory automation systems.
• Support For Laboratory Instruments to LIMS application interface hardware connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical laboratory application issues, instrument interface failures, and integration-related incidents.

Service Delivery & User Support

• Support for all Lab units IT support operations and helpdesk functions.
• Investigate and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.

Documentation

• Maintain infrastructure documentation and SOPs.
• Prepare technical reports, audit documentation, and change records.
• Maintain asset inventory and system records.

Project Management

• Plan, manage, and execute IT infrastructure initiatives supporting laboratory and research operations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, resource allocation, and stakeholder communications.
