It Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Network Infrastructure Deployment to lead and coordinate enterprise network deployment projects remotely from India. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams of Network Infrastructure Engineers and Deployment Technicians, ensuring projects are executed efficiently from planning through completion. This role requires strong project management, stakeholder communication, resource planning, risk management, and technical coordination skills to deliver high-quality network infrastructure projects on time and within scope.

Skill / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure, network deployment, or technical implementation projects.
• Proven experience leading remote engineering and deployment teams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, structured cabling, rack & stack deployments, WAN/LAN, and network infrastructure.
• Experience managing project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
• Familiarity with deployment documentation, inventory management, site readiness, logistics coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Experience working with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of project governance, change management, issue escalation, and quality assurance processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project delivery methodologies is preferred.

Certification Required

• PMP (Project Management Professional) – Preferred
• CompTIA Network+ or CCNA – Added Advantage

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end network infrastructure deployment projects from planning through successful delivery.
• Coordinate remote Network Infrastructure Engineers and Network Deployment Technicians across multiple projects.
• Develop project plans, deployment schedules, resource allocation, and implementation strategies.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, dependencies, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review deployment documentation, inventory records, project reports, and implementation deliverables.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders and management.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, quality processes, customer requirements, and deployment best practices.
• Track project milestones, resource utilization, team performance, and key delivery metrics.
• Identify project risks proactively, implement mitigation strategies, and manage escalations to minimize project impact.
• Support resource planning, workload balancing, and deployment prioritization across concurrent projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, mentor project teams, and ensure successful project closure with complete documentation and customer acceptance.
