Job Description
Role & responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management
- Administer and maintain IT infrastructure encompassing Servers, Network Devices, Firewalls, Storage, and Endpoint Systems.
- Continuously monitor system performance, server uptime, and network availability.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user access controls.
- Support cloud infrastructure and virtualization environments.
- Enforce sound backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
Application Support
- Deliver support for NBFC business applications including LOS, LMS, CRM, Collection, HRMS, and Finance platforms.
- Liaise with application vendors to drive issue resolution and system enhancements.
- Monitor application health and guarantee uninterrupted business operations.
- Diagnose and resolve application-related issues in coordination with internal teams.
Network & Security Management
- Oversee LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and branch connectivity infrastructure.
- Configure and monitor Firewall, Antivirus, Endpoint Security, and Email Security solutions.
- Uphold compliance with cybersecurity policies and RBI/NBFC IT guidelines.
- Assist with VAPT exercises, security audits, and compliance activities.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor system logs, backups, and security alerts proactively.
- Prepare IT infrastructure and application support MIS reports.
- Maintain up-to-date IT documentation, SOPs, and configuration records.
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and OEM support teams.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Windows/Linux Server Administration.
- Experience in Network Administration, Firewall, VPN, and Endpoint Security.
- Hands-on expertise in application troubleshooting and user support.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and virtualization technologies.
- Solid grasp of cybersecurity concepts and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Effective communication, troubleshooting, and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience within the NBFC/BFSI domain.
- Knowledge of RBI IT Compliance and Information Security Guidelines.
- Familiarity with SFTP, backup solutions, and DR activities.
- Track record of managing branch IT infrastructure.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / BCA / B.Sc (IT) or a Diploma in Computer Engineering/Hardware Networking.
- Preferred Certifications: CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, ITIL Foundation, or cloud infrastructure certifications (AWS/Azure Fundamentals).
Key Soft Skills
- Systematic troubleshooting approach to resolve complex hardware and network challenges.
- Clear verbal and written communication for remote technical guidance with non-technical branch staff.
- Agility and responsiveness to tackle critical infrastructure alerts or branch outages with urgency.
