It Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and manage the organization's Data Centre (DC), Disaster Recovery (DR) Centre, and End-User IT Support operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, team leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of ensuring high availability, operational excellence, and SLA-driven service delivery in a 24x7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure & Operations Management

• Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers and technical support staff to ensure seamless 24x7x365 operations.
• Oversee the monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and security systems.
• Ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and performance of Data Centre and Disaster Recovery environments.
• Coordinate with Data Centre Service Providers (DCSPs) for infrastructure operations, deployments, and support activities.

Service Delivery & SLA Management

• Ensure compliance with technical, operational, and deployment-related Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor incident management, problem resolution, and escalation processes to ensure timely closure of critical issues.
• Track infrastructure performance metrics and prepare regular reports on service delivery, resource utilization, and SLA adherence.
• Implement operational best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Infrastructure Planning & Project Execution

• Assist in designing, implementing, and upgrading IT infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Participate in critical Data Centre commissioning activities, migration projects, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Manage resource allocation, workload balancing, and deployment planning across multiple infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.

Team Leadership & Technical Guidance

• Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure teams to achieve operational and organizational goals.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for complex infrastructure issues.
• Conduct performance reviews, skill development initiatives, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and infrastructure governance frameworks.
• Support disaster recovery planning, business continuity initiatives, and periodic DR drills.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, and audit compliance records.
• Identify risks and implement preventive measures to enhance infrastructure security and resilience.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in Data Centre Operations, Disaster Recovery Management, and Enterprise IT Infrastructure.
• Hands-on knowledge of Servers, Storage, Networking, Virtualization, Cloud Infrastructure, and Information Security.
• Experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure environments and support operations.
• Strong understanding of incident, change, problem, and capacity management processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL Foundation / ITSM Certification preferred.
• Experience in Data Centre commissioning, migration, and infrastructure transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) frameworks.
• Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Cloud Platforms, or Information Security will be an added advantage.
