IT Head (Sadhana Education Society)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall day to day IT Services and IT operations across School/ College for IT related activities having asset count closed to 250 Nos, LAN, WAN, Backup and Server knowledge
• Understanding of school/ College related systems having exposure to digital technologies and social sites
• Understand, evaluate the latest IT trends, technologies used in education industry and present to management for adoption which can bring value to the school/ College
• Managing the entire Internal IT Infrastructure which included mailing solution, Data Centre, Recovery, Helpdesk, Network, Security, IT projects and IT Vendor management.
• Ensure maintain correct IT Inventory for hardware and software to ensure 100% compliance
• Understanding the requirement, plan, budget, execute in coordination and approval
• Vendor Management - Coordinating with vendor and ensure timely delivery as per SLA.
• Investigating and identifying fixes for any accidents / troubles in functioning of the system and process. Planning & Upgrading the Infrastructure and Softwares on timely basis

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in managing IT operations in educational institutions or similar organizations.
• Strong knowledge of network and systems administration, database management, cybersecurity, and software development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues quickly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership skills to manage the IT team effectively.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms is an added advantage.
