Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and technically strong Head of IT to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, surveillance systems, and end-user technology environment.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of enterprise networking, cybersecurity, CCTV/surveillance systems, servers, and IT infrastructure, with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues up to L3 level.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure & Network Management
- Manage day-to-day IT infrastructure and network operations.
- Configure, monitor and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, VLAN, routing and switching.
- Manage network switches, routers, firewalls, access points and related infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot network issues up to L3 level.
- Monitor network performance, availability and capacity.
- Maintain network documentation, IP schemes, topology diagrams and configurations.
2. Cybersecurity
- Manage and monitor firewalls, endpoint security, antivirus/EDR and VPN.
- Implement basic cybersecurity policies, access controls and security best practices.
- Monitor security incidents and coordinate incident resolution.
- Manage user access, passwords, permissions and security policies.
- Ensure regular patching, updates and backup practices.
- Support vulnerability identification and remediation.
3. CCTV & Surveillance Systems
- Manage and troubleshoot IP CCTV, NVR/DVR, cameras, PoE switches and surveillance networks.
- Configure camera networks, recording systems and remote monitoring.
- Troubleshoot camera connectivity, recording and storage issues.
- Coordinate with vendors for advanced surveillance system issues and maintenance.
4. Server & IT Systems
- Manage basic Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and file/print services.
- Manage user accounts, groups and access permissions.
- Monitor server health, storage and backups.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and operating-system issues.
5. IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide escalation-level technical support for critical IT issues.
- Diagnose hardware, software, network and connectivity problems.
- Handle L1/L2/L3 escalation and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain IT assets, systems and infrastructure records.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
6. IT Operations & Management
- Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs and documentation.
- Plan preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
- Manage IT vendors, AMC contracts and technical service providers.
- Maintain IT inventory and asset management.
- Ensure minimum downtime and high availability of critical IT systems.
Required Technical Skills

Troubleshooting Routing, switching, network segmentation, connectivity & performance issues
Firewalls Firewall configuration, NAT, VPN, security policies
Cybersecurity Endpoint Security/EDR, antivirus, access control, patching, security monitoring
Surveillance IP CCTV, NVR, DVR, PoE, ONVIF, surveillance networks
Servers Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Backup Backup monitoring, restore procedures and basic DR concepts
CloudBasic understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure/AWS or similar platforms
Hardware -Servers, switches, routers, desktops, laptops and peripherals
Documentation - Network diagrams, IP documentation, asset registers and IT SOPs
Preferred Certifications
Candidates with any of the following certifications will be preferred:
- CCNA / CCNP
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- Fortinet / Sophos / SonicWall certifications
- Microsoft certifications
- CCTV / Security System certifications
Candidate Profile
- 35 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in networking and troubleshooting.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve L3-level network issues.
- Practical understanding of cybersecurity and firewall administration.
- Experience managing IP CCTV and surveillance infrastructure.
- Good vendor-management and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on technical leadership role.
- Willingness to respond to critical infrastructure issues when required.

Ideal Candidate: A hands-on IT infrastructure professional who can manage the IT environment independently, troubleshoot networking problems up to L3, understand cybersecurity and surveillance systems, and coordinate vendors while gradually building a more secure and reliable IT infrastructure.
