IT Executive (Off Roll)

Role & responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end users via phone, email, chat, and onsite assistance.

• Troubleshoot basic hardware issues including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.

• Diagnose and resolve common software problems including OS errors and application issues.

• Handle IT ticketing system tasks such as logging, categorizing, prioritizing, and updating tickets.

• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on end-user devices and IT equipment.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS

• Support basic network connectivity issues such as Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN problems.

• Assist with user account management in Active Directory, Office 365, or similar platforms.

• Set up and configure new employee workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.

• Provide support for basic email issues, mailbox setup, and password resets.

• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment, spare parts, and accessories.

• Assist in hardware repairs or coordinate with vendors for warranty services.

• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions clearly in the ticketing system.

• Follow IT support procedures and maintain compliance with company policies

• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L2 support teams as needed.

• Support video conferencing systems, meeting room equipment, and peripherals.

• Install and configure approved software applications for end users.

• Assist with antivirus updates, basic security checks, and patch installations.

• Provide clear guidance to users on IT best practices and basic troubleshooting steps.

• Participate in IT projects such as equipment rollout, migrations, and office setups
