We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile IT Support Specialist to join our company. You will be the one-person army ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and supporting our 100+ employees. You will also get visibility into cloud infrastructure management during downtimes.

Responsibilities

You will single-handedly manage the entire IT and Network infrastructure of the company.
You will be responsible for IT and Network Asset Evaluation, Procurement, Installation, Configuration, Management, Maintenance and Tracking.
You will work to research good practices as per the ISO standards (27001, 9001) and establish Policies accordingly.
You will maintain all the relevant documentation required to manage IT and network infrastructure, which should be compliant with ISO standards.
You will be the company representative and single point of contact responsible for taking the company through its certification roadmap till the company achieves certification.
Purchase, Maintain, Assign and Track all IT and Network Infrastructure.
Be the single point of contact for all IT and network-related vendor management, negotiation and procurement.
Over a period of time, you should ensure the company has a dual vendor strategy to ensure business continuity.
You will define, draft and ensure all the company security policies are honored.
You will Own, Configure and Control the Firewall configuration, maintenance and policies.
You will Configure and Control the entire Wi-Fi access Point infrastructure and ensure secure access to the network. For example, you will Create and manage separate Wi-Fi zones for different use cases (e.g., a Guest Network, an Employee Network, a Development Network, or an on-Premise network).
You will Manage ISPs and Broadband and Leased lines of the company
You will design, define, create and deploy the VPN infrastructure for the company.
You will design, define, create and deploy the VLANs as per the required standards.
You will own and maintain the Biometric and Access control infrastructure.
You will own and maintain the CCTV cameras, network and storage infrastructure.
You will be responsible for OS installation and Software Applications installation and configuration for different platform (Windows/Linux/Mac)
Maintain and Manage critical company software licenses (Tally, Adobe, Windows, Office) and many other online subscriptions.
You will be responsible for Backups of critical company data (Financial data, HRMS data, IT and Network logs)
Own and support all the software and hardware tools for use across the entire engineering organization while maintaining reliability.
You will be responsible for onboarding a centralized Windows OS & Software management system.
You will be part of the new hire onboarding process, creating their email and user accounts in all the internal and external tools/software as required.
You will be responsible for regular maintenance of employee workstations, repairs and IT support requests.
You will be responsible for quick fixes for employee workstations without waiting for OEM customer care to respond to the issue or send an engineer to fix it. You will be hands-on with repairing laptops (Lenovo, Mac, Dell), desktops, and other workstations.
You will use well-established open source software as much as possible for your job function to ensure low maintenance and licensing costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements in IT and Network policies.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems is preferred.
Networking knowledge is a must.
Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse user groups.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and prioritise workload.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
