Job Overview TE Connectivitys IT Business Analysis Teams analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. They provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. They also configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing, create specifications for systems to meet business requirements and design details of automated systems. At times, TEs IT Business Analysis Teams may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
Roles & Responsibilities - Create and manage Contract Work Statements (CWS) for new and renewal engagements.
- Prepare and coordinate approvals for Contract Bid Deviations (CBDs).
- Generate and maintain NDAs and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, procurement teams, finance, legal, and business stakeholders.
- Create and track Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) through procurement systems and SAP.
- Support PO amendments, budget revisions, and procurement approvals.
- Validate invoices, monitor pending approvals, and maintain accruals and spend tracking.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance.
- Gather and document business requirements and process flows.
- Analyze procurement, financial and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Develop dashboards, KPI reports and executive presentations.
- Support project planning, milestone tracking, RAID logs, action tracking and status reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings and follow up on deliverables.
- Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain or related discipline.
- 13 years of experience in Business Analysis, Procurement Operations, PMO Support, Vendor Management, Finance Operations, or Business Operations. Business Analysis: Requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, root cause analysis, process improvement.
- Procurement: Contract administration, vendor management, PR/PO management, invoice validation, accrual management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards, large dataset analysis).
- Power BI knowledge is preferred.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies and governance.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or Planisware is preferred.
- Knowledge of JIRA is a nice-to-have.
