About the Role
We are looking for a proactive IT Associate Hardware & Networking to provide day-to-day technical support and ensure smooth functioning of the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will support hardware installations, network troubleshooting, and end-user IT requirements while maintaining high service standards.
Specifically, this role will involve
- Providing end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors, and other IT quipment.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Supporting LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and network devices.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and networking issues in a timely manner.
- Maintaining IT asset inventory and updating asset records.
- Coordinating with vendors for repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities.
- Assisting in server maintenance, data backups, and system updates.
- Setting up IT infrastructure for meetings, classrooms, and events.
- Performing preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime.
- Maintaining documentation of IT issues, resolutions, and service requests.
Ideal candidate will have
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 25 years of experience in Hardware & Networking.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, Wi-Fi, printers, CCTV, and biometric devices.
- Good understanding of Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and basic server administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Active, customer-focused, and extroverted personality.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
