AGM / Senior Manager IT Administration

Reporting To

Pune (Corporate Office), with travel to project sites as required.

Job Purpose

The AGM/Senior Manager IT Administration will be responsible for leading and managing the organization's IT infrastructure, network systems, cybersecurity framework, enterprise applications, and IT support functions. The role focuses on delivering secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions that support corporate operations and construction project sites across multiple locations while driving digital transformation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Operations

• Manage enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, cloud platforms, and end-user computing devices.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of IT systems across corporate and project locations.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, technology refresh initiatives, and capacity expansion projects.
• Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

Network & Security Management

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity across all offices and project sites.
• Develop, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
• Manage firewalls, endpoint security, email security, access controls, and security monitoring tools.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and security audits to ensure organizational security.
• Ensure compliance with information security standards and data protection regulations.

Enterprise Applications & ERP Support

• Oversee the implementation, administration, and support of ERP systems, project management software, email platforms, and other enterprise applications.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for application enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution.
• Ensure seamless integration and performance of business applications across the organization.

IT Governance & Compliance

• Develop and maintain IT policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies.
• Ensure software licensing compliance and effective IT asset lifecycle management.
• Prepare and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and organizational IT policies and standards.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop IT infrastructure, application, and support teams.
• Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitor team performance, and drive continuous capability development.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and technology partners.

User Support & Service Delivery

• Establish and monitor IT service levels across all business locations.
• Ensure timely resolution of user incidents, service requests, and technical issues.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
  Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master's Degree (MBA IT / MCA) preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, AWS, Azure, ITIL, CISSP, or CISA will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 1218 years of relevant IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multi-location IT infrastructure and enterprise environments.
• Prior experience in construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or other project-based organizations is preferred.
• Strong exposure to ERP implementation, administration, and support.
