Role & responsibilities

1. Project Management: Manage the finishing phase of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
2. Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that finishing work meets specified standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any defects or deficiencies.
3. Coordination with Subcontractors: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in finishing work, including carpenters, painters, flooring specialists, and interior designers. Ensure that all work is coordinated effectively to avoid conflicts and delays.
4. Material Procurement and Management: Procure and manage materials and supplies required for finishing work, including finishes, fixtures, fittings, and decorative elements. Ensure that materials are sourced cost-effectively and in accordance with project specifications.
5. Budget Management: Monitor and manage the budget for finishing work, tracking expenses and controlling costs to ensure that projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
6. Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding finishing work, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or requests, and ensuring client satisfaction.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of finishing activities, including progress reports, documentation of changes, and correspondence with stakeholders. Prepare and present reports to management as required.
8. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all finishing work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and best practices. Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
9. Problem-solving and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any technical or logistical challenges that arise during finishing work. Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner to minimize disruption to the project schedule.
