THIS IS AN INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY ON-SITE BASED OUT OF OUR KOLKATA OFFICE .
What You ll Do - Do original research and push it into production: prototype in Python and implement performance-critical parts in C++ when needed.
- Work with tick and order book data to find short-term signals and improve execution.
- Build realistic backtests and research tooling that account for fees, slippage, queue position, and latency.
- Build and improve strategy code and core research infrastructure.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a PhD / Postdoc in CS, EE, Math, Physics, or Statistics.
- Strong fundamentals in probability, linear algebra, and statistics; comfortable working with large datasets.
- Strong Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy) and the ability to write clean, performant C++.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- A small team and direct production ownership.
