Interior Designer Intern

Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer Intern to support our design team in conceptualizing and executing diverse interior projects. This internship provides hands-on exposure to live projects, space planning, material selection, technical drawings, site coordination, and client interactions under the guidance of experienced interior designers. It is an excellent opportunity for aspiring designers to enhance their practical knowledge and build strong industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing innovative and functional interior design concepts based on client requirements.
• Support the team in project planning, design development, and execution.
• Help prepare mood boards, material selections, and design presentations.
• Support 3D modelling and rendering using tools such as SketchUp or Blender.
• Participate in site visits and assist in monitoring project execution.
• Coordinate with architects, designers for smooth workflow.
• Stay updated with current interior and design trends to contribute fresh ideas.

Required Skills Knowledge

• Basic understanding of interior design principles and space planning.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Basic knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering tools
• Ability to create presentations and conceptual design boards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor s degree / Diploma in Interior Designing.
