Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement instrumentation systems for oil & gas facilities using international standards (ISA) and detail engineering principles.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices during installation, testing, and commissioning of instruments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement in existing instrumentation systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to instrumentation design, installation, testing, and maintenance procedures.
- Provide technical support to operators on troubleshooting issues with instrumentation systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 7-12 years of experience in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ISA (International Society of Automation) standards and detail engineering principles.
- Experience working on Oil & Gas projects involving refinery processes such as distillation columns, reactors, heat exchangers etc. .
- Proficiency in programming languages like PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley), SCADA systems (e.g., Wonderware).
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
