MEP Manager - Electrical/ Mechanical

12+ years of experience in high rise residential building projects

Job Responsibility
  • Overall planning, execution, and monitoring of all MEP activities.
  • Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedule.
  • Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Architectural, and Interior teams.
  • Review material submittals, technical data sheets, and vendor approvals.
  • Monitor procurement and timely availability of MEP materials and equipment.
  • Supervise HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, STP, WTP, and Utility installations.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality and workmanship.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, NBC, IS Codes, and statutory requirements.
  • Review and approve RFIs, MIRs, and inspection requests.
  • Verify Installation Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and checklists.
  • Monitor testing, commissioning, and system performance.
  • Ensure timely closure of quality observations, NCRs, and punch points.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly coordination meetings.
  • Monitor project progress and identify delays with corrective action plans.
  • Ensure adequate manpower, machinery, and resources are available.
  • Review contractor productivity and resource deployment.
  • Verify MEP measurements and certify contractor RA Bills.
  • Review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documents.
  • Prepare and submit DPR, WPR, MPR, and MEP progress reports.
  • Maintain records of inspections, approvals, material tracking, and commissioning.
  • Monitor snagging and de-snagging activities before handover.
  • Support final testing, commissioning, and project handover.
  • Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and site coordination problems.
  • Attend client review meetings and present project progress.
Attributes
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Must have experience handling high-rise residential projects.
  • Mivan Shuttering or Conventional formwork experience in High Rise Residential Building Projects.
  • Good understanding of IS codes, NBC and relevant standards.
  • Ability to review drawings and technical documents.
