Qualification
-
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical engineering with 8 to 10 Yrs experience
Or
- Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 10 to 12 Yrs experience
Additional Qualification
- NDT - ASNT / ISNT - LEVEL II (UT/RT/MT/PT/VT/LT/ET) with valid certificates
- Additional qualification C SWIP, AWS will be added advantage.
Job Responsibility
Inspection/Testing / Quality Surveillance of shop fabrication equipment for Oil / Gas , Refinery sector or Petrochemical / chemicals / Fertilizer / Cement industry or Power Sector. Must be Familiar with Pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers, Storage tanks, Column, Reactors.

- Excellent inspection skills; Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Should be familiar with manufacturing processes related to fabrication all stages, welding , heat treatment, inspection, testing, NDT, pressure testing, Painting.
- Prior working experience with reputed Third Party Inspection Agency or EPC & PMC companies will be added advantage.
- Familiar with Welding procedure/ welder qualifications- WPS/ PQR/ WPQ
- Familiar with Raw material - Plates, Piping Components / Fittings, Casting, Forging, Flanges, Pipes, Tubes, Welded Pipes, Fasteners, Gaskets; Fully conversant with materials and material testing as per applicable codes / standards.
- Familiar with Structural Fabrication & Erection (AWS D1.1)
- Familiar with Piping Fabrication, NDT (B 31.3), Storage Tanks.
- Sound knowledge of National/ International Standards and codes such as IS, ASTM, ASME SECTIONS II, VIII Div.1 , IX, V; API etc.
- Candidates currently working with Third Party Inspection Agency or similar industry will have an added advantage.
