Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Automate deployment, patching, monitoring, backup, and routine operational activities.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Manage and automate cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
  • Create automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Shell scripting.
  • Automate server provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
  • Integrate infrastructure automation with DevOps and CI/CD platforms.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and operational health.
  • Troubleshoot automation failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure incidents.
  • Implement security, access controls, compliance checks, and automated remediation.
  • Develop reusable automation modules, scripts, templates, and workflows.
  • Maintain version-controlled infrastructure and automation code using Git.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, SRE, Security, and Development teams.
  • Identify manual processes and convert them into scalable automated workflows.
  • Prepare technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in infrastructure automation, DevOps, Cloud, SRE, or systems engineering.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Shell.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC/configuration-management tools.
  • Good knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server administration.
  • Experience with Git and version-control practices.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
  • Understanding of networking, security, monitoring, logging, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
