Information Security Analyst (Cloudflare WAF+ Scripting)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and monitor Cloudflare services including CDN, DNS, WAF, DDoS protection, rate limiting, and Zero Trust
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python/Bash/Powershell) to streamline operations and reduce manual effort
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Troubleshoot issues related to web traffic, performance, security rules, and access controls
• Support incident response, security reviews, and audits as required
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks
• Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate scripting and automation development

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience in Cloud Security, DevOps, automation
• Strong Python/Bash scripting skills (core requirement)
• Practical experience with Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of WAF, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS, and web application fundamentals
• Ability to debug issues, analyze logs, and work methodically through problems
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure and/or GCP
• Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot
