Job Description
An Informatica Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration and management solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
The job responsibilities typically include:
1.Analyzing and understanding the business requirements for data integration and management.
2.Designing, developing, and testing Informatica mappings, workflows, and data integration processes.
3.Debugging and troubleshooting issues related to data integration and management.
4.Writing SQL scripts and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data.
5.Collaborating with stakeholders such as business analysts, data architects, and other developers to ensure data integration and management solutions meet business requirements.
6.Maintaining the existing Informatica applications and infrastructure, including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
7.Documenting the design, development, and implementation of Informatica solutions.
The ideal candidate should have experience with Informatica PowerCenter, relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2, and a good understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are also essential.
