Informatica Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Informatica PowerCenter Developer with strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL to design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building complex ETL workflows, optimizing data integration processes, and ensuring high-quality data delivery across multiple systems. Experience in data warehousing, performance tuning, and production support is highly preferred. The role aligns with responsibilities commonly seen in Informatica-centric ETL environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Develop and maintain complex mappings, sessions, workflows, and reusable components.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to gather and understand data integration requirements.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems.
• Conduct data profiling, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Optimize ETL workflows and SQL queries for improved performance and scalability.
• Implement error handling, recovery mechanisms, and monitoring processes.
• Support data migration and integration initiatives across enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data-related production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, mapping specifications, and data flow diagrams.
• Mentor junior team members and promote ETL development best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience in ETL development and data integration.
• Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter Designer, Workflow Manager, Repository Manager, and Workflow Monitor.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Experience in performance tuning of ETL jobs and database queries.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and SCDs.
• Experience in data validation, data quality, and reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
