Industry content writer

Role & responsibilities

• Write and edit articles, features, news stories, interviews and industry reports for Exhibition Showcase.
• Develop engaging LinkedIn posts, social media content, captions and campaign copy.
• Research the latest developments, companies, exhibitions, events and trends across the exhibition and MICE industry.
• Conduct research and prepare interview questionnaires for industry leaders.
• Convert interviews and discussions into well-structured editorial stories.
• Write content for event promotions, brochures, newsletters, websites and marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate with the editorial, design, marketing and video teams to develop content.
• Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, tone and consistency.
• Stay updated with industry news and identify relevant topics for editorial coverage.
• Support content requirements for Exhibition Showcase events, awards, conferences and special campaigns.
• Ensure content is informative, engaging and aligned with the brand's editorial voice.

• Excellent English writing and communication skills.
• Strong command of grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure.
• Excellent research and information-gathering abilities.
• Ability to write in different formats and tones.
• Strong storytelling skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify complex industry information into easy-to-understand content.
• Good knowledge of LinkedIn and social media content writing.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
• Basic understanding of SEO and digital content is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AI writing/research tools is an advantage.
